Copper is a plant protection product used in the protection of vegetable and fruit plants. The main effect of copper is to act as a fungicide, that is, to prevent the spread of fungal diseases among plants. Copper works by preventing the germination and development of fungi, thus protecting plants from fungal infections. Copper is effective against several fungal diseases, including downy mildew, powdery mildew, scab, rust and botrytis. These diseases can cause the appearance of spots and lesions on leaves and fruits, causing them to deteriorate and fall. The use of copper helps prevent the onset of these diseases, thus protecting plants and ensuring a healthy and abundant harvest.
